West were knocked out of the Challenge Cup at home to unbeaten second division side Sun Postal, however they put up a good fight, and were it not for a few late Sun Postal goals the result would have been a little closer.

West scored two excellent goals though, the first a great solo effort from Tom Weaver who picked up the ball in his own half and ran towards goal before chipping the keeper. The second came from a great  from Jamie Heaffey, who played Greg Springall through on goal. The Sun Postal keeper parried Greg's first shot, but Greg was first to the rebound to score.
